TCS Soryu was an antique carrier launched sometime before 2629.

If Vance Richards's claim that the carriers were launched before he was born is taken literally, that was before 2608.

By 2634 it was one of the 6 belonging to the Seventh Fleet, spending most of its time docked with Alexandria station to reserve fuel and engine time. Even though it was listed as being on-line, it was used for spare parts, stripped out to repair the other 5 carriers of the Fleet.[1]
