The TCS Concordia was a Confederation-class Dreadnought.
The Concordia was the second Confederation-class Dreadnought to be constructed and put into service by the Terran Confederation. Even though the Confederation-class starships had many design flaws and other problems, the Concordia served the Confederation with high honors and was the Terran Confederation Navy's pride and joy. She served as Admiral Tolwyn's flagship from her commissioning in 2661 to the Battle of Earth in 2668, and carried a crew of approximately 3,000. In her seven years of service, she destroyed many starships, including about thirty capital ships. The Concordia also fought in nine major fleet actions during the Kilrathi War.
The TCS Concordia served in Enigma Sector for several years and was a key part of actions such as the destruction of the Heaven's Gate starbase, of K'tithrak Mang, and Ayer's Rock. On 2665, Christopher Blair joined the crew of the Concordia following a fluke attack which forced him to come to the aid of the flagship which was currently under the command of Geoffrey Tolwyn. Desperate circumstances and with the help of Wing Commander Jeannette Devereaux helped Blair stay aboard where he was able to vindicate himself by proving Zach Colson framed him for the Claw's destruction. With Blair's help, the Concordia won the Enigma Sector by destroying the base at K'Tithrak Mang.
The Concordia was also the flagship of the Third Fleet during the Battle of Sirius and the Battle of Earth. It was severely damaged in Tolwyn's failed attempt to save Sirius and retreated to Earth to assist the surviving forces in any way possible.
During operations to clean up Kilrathi forces following the Battle of Earth, The TCS Concordia sustained heavy damage and was destroyed on Vespus around the year 2669. The ship slammed into the ocean off the Mistral Coast and was partially submerged with its bow standing out of the water, killing most if not the entire crew. Blair and Paladin were sent to locate it, and Blair reported that the Concordia was a total loss.
