Polaris is a star of the Roan quadrant of the Sol Sector.[1]
Polaris was the destination of the first Akwende Drive prototype of the Terran Confederation, the Haile Selassie. In 2588 it made the first successful jump-transit from Sol to Polaris and returned to Sol some days later.[2]
