Landreich is a region of space outside the Terran Confederation, infamous for lawlessness, piracy and smuggling. At the capital of the Landreich was the Hell Hole.
Citizens of the Landreich are mostly smugglers and for that they don't have love for the Confederation, as the Terran Confederation Fleet is responsible for controlling smuggling and many cargoes are lost to the Confed patrols.[1]
Laws are more simple and straightforward than in more developed governments: a murder in a bar for example can be summarily settled if 3 witnesses orally confirm that the victim had drawn a gun first, proving to all those prevents that the killing was in self-defense.[1]
Hans Kruger became the president of the Landreich.
