Allen "Blizzard" Goetz was a pilot stationed aboard the Tiger's Claw.
Goetz was involved in an incident when the Tiger's Claw flew nearby binary suns which had an electical discharge. This affected fellow pilots Chris Blair, Todd Marshall and Lindsay Price who were caught alongside him in their starfighters and were unprotected by their ships. This caused them all to have hallucinations and paranoia as the electricity interfered with their brain functions. He crash landed back on the Tiger's Claw as his vision was also affected, and was rescued by Gwen Bowman before his ship exploded. Blizzard later told Gwen that he was in love with her, which confused her as he had never shown an interest in her that way before. Eventually Blizzard and the other affected members stage a breakout where Gwen is forced to shoot him down as he mistakenly takes aim and prepares to launch missles at the Tiger's Claw believing it is a Kilrathi ship.
His death by her hand affected Gwen for a long time, as she could no longer kill enemies without thinking of them as people.
