Brimstone is a star system in the Vega Sector. During the Kilrathi War, it was under Empire of Kilrah control.
History
The Kilrathi had established military bases on the second planet. During the Vega Campaign, the TCS Tiger's Claw arrived to the system after operations in Gimle, in order to investigate the conditions for a possible attack.
Maverick and Maniac flew several missions together.
- At first they gathered intelligence. They met a Salthi and Grathas, and Krants in an asteroid.[2]
- Preparing for an invasion, headquarters dispatched several more warships to the system. After passing through Salthis, the pilots protected a newly arrived Exeter-class and escorted it to the Claw, protecting it from attacking Dralthis.[3]
- The invasion begun against the bases on Brimstone II, a blockade was put around the planet and the Kilrathi got desperate. The Empire dispatched dozens of Dorkir-class to support the warriors. Maverick and Maniac, after fighting a wing of Jalthis, engaged a Dorkir which was protected by two wings of Krants, led by Khajja nar Ja'targk.[4]
Following this engagement the Claw traveled to Chengdu.
